Our Organization at Work
Our nonprofit organization, Armed Forces and Military Veterans Appreciation Inc. (AFMVA), was established in 2014 to carry out a mission of support and assistance. Our goal is to provide help in job connection, education, relocation, and transition from active duty to civilian life, working through our North Las Vegas Veterans Community Commission. Our organization, throughout the year, remains engaged in the community. Monies remaining from donation received from our annual "Thank You" celebration contribute to supporting programs and several causes in our community.
Some of our causes include:

VAREP (Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals) donates to rehabbing homes for Veterans.

Supported Veterans village Operation One Veteran at a Time Campaign

Support Nellis AFB Operation Warm Heart. This campaign supports children whose parents are deployed during the Christmas holidays.

Support several Veterans Military Caucus & Non-profits. throughout Southern Nevada

During the month of December, our organization in partnership with our co-chair Richard Cherchio and North Las Vegas Fire Department along with volunteers delivers toys for the children and youths on the Fire Truck.

During the peak of the pandemic, in partnership with Helping Hands Vegas Valley, Meals for Humanity Program, we provided meals to military families, the program is currently still ongoing.
